New Full Time Phlebotomist

We are excited to announce enhanced service and more convenience for our patients.  Recently Cedar Park Pediatric & Family Medicine worked out an arrangement with Clinical Pathology Labs (CPL) to have a fulltime CPL phlebotomist in our clinic.   A few of the many benefits for our patients will be:

1. Almost any blood work/labs can be drawn in our office.
2. Labs for our patients can be drawn in our office even when a patient is not due for an office visit
3. Most insurances are contracted with CPL.
4. Less chance for error and delay.
5. Less chance for billing errors.

Because of their quality services we have utilized CPL for the majority of our patient's lab work since the day our clinic opened.  This recent move demonstrates our combined effort to provide patients quality service and convenience.  Please feel free to let Christine, the phlebotomist, know if you appreciate her availability in our clinic.  For more information about CPL please see their website, http://www.cpllabs.com/.  Although new to our clinic, rest assured that Chrisitne has years of experience with phlebotomy.

We do require a "lab appointment" to be set.  We do not want to have a backlog that delays patient care or creates long waits for patients.  There is no copay associated with lab only appointments.  CPL will bill your insurance company with the information that you provide us at the time of the visit.

Cedar Park Pediatric & Family Medicine does run and bill for some lab work in house for some insurance plans.  Therefore, you may be billed by CPPFM for some lab work.
